About Carly

Carly Dusute earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Detroit Mercy and earned her Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law. After completing her first year of law school, she joined D.C. Law as a law clerk, where she worked alongside David and Nickolas while finishing her legal education. Carly has been practicing law since November 2021.
Her practice focuses on both criminal defense and family law, where she represents clients in a wide range of matters, including criminal cases, traffic offenses, divorce, custody, parenting time, and other domestic relations issues.
She also serves as appointed counsel through the Michigan Indigent Defense Commission, providing legal representation to indigent individuals in criminal proceedings. Carly is committed to providing knowledgeable, compassionate, and effective advocacy while guiding clients through challenging legal matters with professionalism and integrity.
